Roxtec is seeking an individual for the Technical Sales Support Specialist position based in Tulsa, OK. Roxtec Inc. Job Summary 

The Technical / Sales Support Specialist will provide a wide range of services to Roxtec customers (both internal and external) by assisting them with product questions, selection, maintenance, quotation, installation, training, availability, and ordering of Roxtec products and components.

Essential Job Functions  

  • Provide technical support for engineered products and their applications.
  • Demonstrate a broad scope of product knowledge to ensure appropriate technical solution is applied accurately.
  • Make Product recommendations based on customer application requirements.
  • Review and confirm customer provided specifications to ensure best product fit for application.
  • Consult with new customers in business development industries to establish industry requirements and determine best product fit.
  • Work with design and engineering to create custom solutions to resolve complex technical issues that fall outside the scope of standard products.
  • Work in conjunction with sales to ensure best possible service: right product, on time, on budget, installed correctly.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across the sales pyramid and at every point of the sales process.
  • Manage CRM and ERP systems to execute inquiries for RFQ’s, products sourcing, services and solutions, price discrepancies, order tracking and delivery schedules.
  • Proactively communicate customer needs across departments to ensure positive customer relations are maintained.
  • Attend training, sales meetings, site visits, and trade shows as necessary – 10-15% overnight travel annually.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Negotiation and conflict management skills together with demonstrated experience troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Intermediate level of computer skills in Microsoft suite of products, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years inside sales or customer service experience
  • Strong mathematical/technical/mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledgeable in the Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
