Global cable and pipe transit provider Roxtec Group has appointed a new CEO. As of January 1, 2021, Magnus Holmberg, currently EVP Global Sales, will take on the top executive role for the rapidly growing market leader. Mikael Helmerson, Roxtec’s CEO since 2013, has been appointed vice president at Mellby Gard in charge of industrial holdings and as such he will going forward be a member of Roxtec’s Board of Directors.
“I am very happy to welcome Magnus Holmberg as the new CEO for Roxtec Group,” says Hans Stråberg, Chairman of the Roxtec Board of Directors. “He has a solid track record in the company since he joined six years ago and he also brings valuable experience from his previous career with ABB.”
“On behalf of the board I would like to thank Mikael Helmerson for his very successful seven years with Roxtec, during which the company has nearly doubled in size through organic growth by exploring new market segments and introducing new solutions.”
Expecting continuous growth
Hans Stråberg says that Roxtec’s strategic direction going forward remains with a clear focus on growth through market creation and building on the company’s mission to protect life and assets:

Magnus Holmberg, currently EVP Global Sales at Roxtec, will be the new CEO of Roxtec Group.
Mikael Helmerson has decided to leave his position as CEO of Roxtec. He will take on a new role as VP at Mellby Gard where he will focus on the industrial holdings, and as such remain as a board member of Roxtec going forward.
