The GK Firestop sealing kit (GK FS SK) for cables and cable bundles is certified to meet marine A-60 and A-0 fire rating requirements – without any additional insulation. Use this area efficient solution for decks and bulkheads to ensure fire and smoke protection on rigs and ships during construction and operation.

The GK Firestop is used in sleeves in above waterline applications. It combines lightweight, halogen-free fire prevention materials, such as a cold smoke resistant fiberglass cloth with integrated intumescent material which expands to close the void in case of fire. The GK FS SK is compliant with RoHs and REACH and certified for use with any bolted or welded sleeve as well as with any marine grade fire sealant.

The GK Firestop sealing kit is much faster to install than a typical compound and filler-based method. There are also other differences that make the GK FS SK a far better choice. By selecting it, you can:
